Description
Original artwork :Who doesn’t love pizza? It’s definitely my favourite food, and a subject I’ve painted and illustrated many times before. This new mini canvas shows three slices of pizza conjoined by delicious pieces of dripping melting cheese. One slice has tomato and basil on it, the middle one is ham and pineapple for you Hawaiian fans, and the bottom one has my personal topping choice, pepperoni and green peppers. As usual in my work I’m less interested in realism, or healthy ‘fine-dining’ food, instead I prefer to explore the bright colours and nostalgic memories associated with comfort food, representing it in a graphic, bold pop art style and set against a sky blue background. In short, it’s a bold and bright piece of art that would brighten up any room in your home, although it would look especially great in the kitchen. It is painted on a stretched cotton canvas that is ready to hang, and signed on the back as pictured.
